Human Systems Foundation ("HSF," "we," "us") is a California nonprofit public benefit corporation and a 501(c)(3) tax-exempt public charity (EIN 41-5294298). This page explains how we handle information from visitors, donors, and partners.
We do not require you to create an account, and we do not knowingly collect information from children.
Card and Apple Pay donations are processed by third-party payment processors (such as Stripe). HSF does not store full card numbers. Each processor handles your payment data under its own privacy policy. Cryptocurrency gifts are sent directly to our published wallet address; blockchain transactions are public by nature.
We do not sell, rent, trade, or share donor or contact information with third parties for their marketing purposes. We share information only with service providers who help us operate (for example, payment processing and accounting), or when required by law. Donors may request that we limit communications or remove their information by emailing us.
Donations to HSF are voluntary gifts. Contributions are tax-deductible to the extent allowed by law (IRS determination effective April 2, 2026); please consult your tax advisor regarding deductibility and valuation, including for cryptocurrency. If you believe a donation was made in error or as a duplicate, contact us within 30 days and we will review and, where appropriate, issue a refund of the affected card transaction.
This site is intentionally minimal and does not set advertising cookies. Standard server logs and any privacy-respecting analytics may record non-identifying technical data to keep the site secure and functioning.
We may update this policy as our programs and operations evolve. Material changes will be reflected by the effective date above.
